The sleeve is the whole point.

Most linen dresses give you a straight sleeve and hope for the best. Caroline gives you volume - a full, softly gathered sleeve that falls from the shoulder and gathers into a narrow cuff at the wrist. It moves when you move. It's the reason people ask where the dress is from.

Underneath the drama, the cut is doing quiet work. The seam sits high, just under the bust, so the length of the skirt reads as leg. Below it, the skirt falls straight and close without gripping.

It's lined. Not a detail we'd normally lead with, except that anyone who has owned an unlined linen dress knows the difference: nothing clinging at the knee, nothing to hold up to the light before you leave the house, no slip to remember. You put it on and go.

The back zip runs the full length, so the dress keeps a clean neckline and a smooth front with nothing to fasten or adjust.

Where it goes: an office day where you want to look considered. Dinner with boots and a coat. A wedding in the row behind the family. Autumn, mostly — but the linen keeps it wearable into the warm months.

Fit
Easy through the bust and sleeve, defined by the seam under the bust, close and straight through the skirt.

The sleeve has generous room; the skirt does not. If you like more ease through the hip, take the larger size.

Care

Machine wash inside out at 30°C on gentle cycle using mild detergent or hand wash. Iron on the reverse, low heat. Dry flat.
