Trousers that do what a skirt does.
Most wide-leg trousers stop at the ankle and show the join. Lyra runs full length - the hem falls to the floor and breaks over the shoe, so the line runs uninterrupted from waist to ground. From across a room it reads as one long column. It's the reason these look expensive.
The waist sits at your natural waist, not below it, and two soft pleats release from the waist band so there's room through the hip without volume at the front. Tuck a top in and the proportion does the work: short above, long below.
The fabric is the other half. It hangs rather than holds - it moves with the leg instead of standing away from it, which is what separates a trouser that drapes from one that just fits.
Where they go: the office with a shirt tucked in. Dinner with a fitted knit and heels. A weekend with a T-shirt and trainers and no effort at all.

Fit
Fitted at the waist, easy through the hip thanks to the pleats, wide and straight from thigh to hem.
On length: these are cut long on purpose. If you are under 165 cm or plan to wear them flat, they can be shortened - take them to a tailor and keep the hem width as it is.
Between sizes? Take the smaller one at the waist; the pleats give the room lower down.
Care
Machine wash inside out at 30°C on gentle cycle using mild detergent or hand wash. Iron on the reverse, low heat. Dry flat.
Production and dispatch: 7–10 business days.
Styling note
Lyra was cut to sit under our short jackets and fitted tops - the high waist meets a cropped hem exactly where it should. Wear them with a tucked shirt and the proportion is settled before you've thought about it.
